Does Receptys work with WhatsApp?

No. Receptys does not connect to WhatsApp. It answers patients on Telegram and on your clinic's own web chat page (receptys.ai/c/your-clinic, with a QR code). Instagram DM and Facebook Messenger are in pilot, waiting for Meta approval, on Pro and Clinic+.

Why not WhatsApp

Connecting an AI to WhatsApp needs the WhatsApp Business Platform, which requires Meta business verification and charges per message. Receptys is priced flat with unlimited conversations, which per-message WhatsApp fees would not allow at the same price.

If your patients already message you on WhatsApp

• Keep WhatsApp for patients who prefer it, and put your Receptys chat link in your WhatsApp Business greeting or away message, so after-hours enquiries can book themselves.
• Put the chat link or QR code on your website, Instagram bio, Google Business Profile and at reception.
